Automated Removal Instructions for Antivirus 2009 using Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware:
Please update before scanning………
Answer:
Not good.
You’ve a virus that’s designed to sell you software to remove it.
Go to a website called “majorgeeks.com where you’ll almost certainly find advice to remove it. This will involve booting in “safe” mode and removing the brute manually.
Norton Anti Virus and McCaffee won’t help, in fact, they will want to charge you for the advice that majorgeeks will give you for free.
You do need to get rid of it though, because after several days it will start to download other viruses that will damage your personal if your current antivirus doesn't catch them first.
If Spybot works then so much the better, but it didn't work for me. If all else fails, try majorgeeks anyway.
Answer:
Part of it is already on your machine, it's rogueware that’ll find errors even on a brand new machine which is known to be clean, eg:

Note: You should hit all “Repair” buttons even though it may not say “Found!” This will fix a wallpaper hijack everytime if all repair buttons are pressed.
Edit: @ nettie - Smitfraud Fix is NOT a trojan and has been widely used by thousands of users, what it contains is the repair code that antivirus programs read as a trojan, which it certainly isn’t. If it were, then it would not be so popular, nor cited on all of the major download sites.

You’re right not to want to install it as it is bogus programme that you’ll have the devils own to get rid of once installed. Also it invades your computer. So ignore it don't even click on it. It will go away eventually but only if you don’t install.
Do as recommended and use spybot to clean up.
