I love Avira but I can't tell if it's slowing my personal down or not …
Please don't suggest AVG or Nortons, I've used them and they're both horrible.
Also, if anyone knows how to turn off that horrible bleep in Avira please tell me …

Avira is too good it wont slow down your system too much . As antivirus needs to keep check on all programs behaviour it slows down the system a bit . In easy words if you are looking for antivirus which does not slow down your system then you are looking for viruses,trojans,worms,Malware etc .SO any good antivirus should slow down your system a bit as it needs time to monitor each process on your pc . Avira Antivir should be the best as long as you keep updating it.

try avast, but if I were u stick with avira, 100% detection rates, cant be bad, also, avira is just an ati virus check for adware with ad aware 2008

well i use avira on 3 pc one of them is p4 1.4 with 256 mb of ram

AVIRA is d ideal dont even consider changing it…
I dunno what BEEP sound ur talkng bout….but it's 2 cool atleast on my comp!
