Norton is sleazy. They have no accountability and just want to make money off people by forcing themselves onto every new computer. I’m never using them again. Can fool some ppl some of the time, but you can’t fool all the ppl all the time. They don’t let you get a refund either. There should be a class action against them. ~75% of the time I get aggravated like this for mistreatment, I hear about a class action lawsuit later. I hope they lose millions for being pricks. Karma will get them.
Norton is awful. I was in a great mood before I attempted to download their $59 deal. It wouldn’t download. There’s no customer service number listed. Google led me to one, which gave me another number. I waited for fucking 25 min for this rude man to pick up who took my number down but did not call me back when were disconnected. I called back and waited for 35 min for a lady to tell me that she had to transfer me. Now I simply demand a refund for this not working and the aggrevation. But cant!
They just charged my account for some reason! I tried to call, no one picks up!
hey everyone I had a similar situation .. i did the same I wiped my computer. I also called and insisted they refund my $ for the software and they did. Just a word of advice back up your computer on DVD’s or external hard drives. I put a reminder on my outlook to remind me to back up my system monthly.
I am reporting norton to the bbb, because is just plain stupid the way they do things.
I hit the option for refund, and they came on with in 5 minutes. I called around 9:50p Central Standard time.
Thank you for the CC number — I was able to talk with them and request a refund. I will wait 13 business days and if I dont receive a refund, then I will contact the Attorney General for my State, and have them go after Nortel for internet fraud.

How do you get them to answer the phone? Once I was on hold for an hour and a half until I hung up. Been waiting 50 minutes so far today.
I had a nasty virus on my computer while using norton, it did not help and after running a full scan told me everything was fine with my pc. I uninstalled norton and downloaded avg free. It recognized the virus and fixed my pc right away. I spent over 3 hours on hold with norton and nobody ever ended up helping me.

Just so you all know, when u pay them 100 dollars, they dont remove your virus they quarantine it, my norton expired so the virus re-exploded in my system and they were asking me to pay 100 dollars again. I ended up figuring out how to remove it myself. called them just to say suck it
downloaded the program because everyone recommends this company and of course every other day I try to contact customer support, a message displays that they are unable to connect at this time and my internet is up and running.

yea some person hacked me n was watching me thru my webcam n norton is trying to charge me 99 fuckin dollars 2 fix it which is a something i pay them 2 prevent in the 1st place!! i call them 2 ask a freakin question n they wont even let me speak w a tech without charing me 99 dollars! this is crazy norton needs 2 go down FUCK NORTON
