i tried installing it but then it states i need to unistall some program,
the program is called AVG8, anyone have a clue for this?

Have a look through these and you should
be able to remove the remains of AVG.
Registry cleaners will Not remove these.

It's faster and better than add / remove applet.
When you run it highlight the item then select uninstall in next window choose Advanced and click Next, follow prompts when uninstalled it will scan registry and drive for leftover files / folders,click sign to expand all results and tick ONLY the bold items and follow prompts.

do a complete uninstall of avg which is antivirus. If you do not do this kaspersky will not work properly.
After you uninstall it and restart your pc it should install just fine.

Yeah, I love Kaspersky but they need to get their **** together in realizing that many people have installed other Anti-Virus programs before theirs and make it easier for people to install their program without all the hassle.

Kas will refuse to install when you have a “running” scanner like AVG ,as they clash in their operation. You must make a choice of one or the other.
