Antivirus 2008 is on my personal. When I run Supperantispywere it will scan my entire personal until it reaches the Antivirus 2008 file, and then it will freeze. After It hits that file, I can't close Supperantispywere or continue with the scan. The only thing that’ll close it is restarting my computer. What can I do to fix this?
I’ve heard that Smithfraud Fix is one way to get rid of antivirus 2008, but is it safe? when I started to run it, my personal stated it was malicious script (or something like that). Are there easier ways to get rid of ALL of antivirus 2008?
I’ve run other spywere/antiviruses to try and get rid of antivirus 2008, I’ve tried Spybot search and destroy, Ad were (lavasoft), and Avast antivirus. None of these have found that same file, and none of them have been stopped by it. They have all worked well, but they all come up with different results.
Answer:
One of the accepted tool of this kind is MBAM.
EDIT: You can use SmitfraudFix but you will have to run it in safe mode to get the desired effect. MBAM is fast becoming a useful tool to combat rogue programs and you can run it in normal Windows.

there's not surprise that different antispyware tools scan a computer in a different ways and detects different things. as superantispyware was the only one to locate antivirus2008, you can try running superantispyware in a safe mode. most of malicious files are inactive in a safe mode, so security tools can erase them. here's safe mode tutorial: http://www.2-spyware.com/news/post232.ht…
i also suggest trying to remove antivirus 2008 manually: http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-antiviru…
it can be more efficient way then antispyware scan.
