is xp's firewall good enough with avg antivirus?Or should i get another one?I have used zone alarm firewall but that thing is pretty hefty on the ram. Comodo is nice. But what works with avg antivirus?Thanks much!

Hello John, Windows Firewall is good enough and it will work with avg ok. Now if you had zone alarm you would have to turn one of the firewalls off because zone alarm is a firewall protection program itself. Good Luck

I use comodo I love it I use to use trend micro it was decent but i get the same protection from comodo for free here is the cnet link ,the major reason I like this fire wall is the Host Intrusion Prevention System and it works it stops exe download links before they even download I got attacked by antivirus 2008 (trojan) if you dont know and comodo stopped it in its tracks its a executable link hidden in web pages you just open the page and it starts downloading itself into your computer and once its in there its a nightmare to get rid of

I’m using sygate personal firewall. i think its one of the ideal free firewalls around.
