I don't have Antivirus 2008 so don't send me info on how to remove it I just want to know from experience what’s the ideal thing you can do to remove it
if you ever get it what works and what doesn't work?

From my experiance the best way to deal with this automatically is to download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from http://www.malwarebytes.org/ It is a very good program and is also free to use.
There is a very good step-by-step guide here to using it that will help if you get stuck.

Answer:

You would have to click for “updates” before you scan.
So, if you're unlucky enough to get this pest on your Computer, using one of the above would do the job.

I had it, couldn't get rid of it so reinstalled Windows (XP). Lost some software, most easily restored with discs. Removed Norton, bought AVG 8 and downloaded Firefox (free). AVG 8 is excellent. Now working perfectly again and secure.
